A Quiet Buzz

A Quiet Buzz took many forms over a few years before reaching its finish line this spring. Working on handmade watercolor paper, I played with various background elements, building layers with no clear direction in mind. At some point after finishing my bee linocut, I remembered this unfinished piece of watercolor paper and the bee-related patterns already adorning it laying in wait. I loved the idea of antique paper flower cutouts surrounding the little bee, working away. Now, it is one of my favorite pieces with so much imagined story and depth running through it.

All prints, cards, bookmarks, and stickers are printed and packaged by me in my home studio. Because every order is prepared by hand, slight variations in color may occur between your screen and the finished piece.

Shipping

This original artwork is currently displayed in a frame for presentation. To help ensure it arrives safely and to keep shipping costs reasonable, original works on paper are typically shipped unframed.
